Firmware Update RTKITE

First, be sure of what version board of RTKITE have you

1. TTL
2. RS232

1) Download the updater of the latest version and run it.

(Search for “Kite_FW_Update_x_x_x.exe”)

2) Connect pins 2 and 3 (TX and RX) to a PC with a USB to TTL3.3V/RS232 converter (board version dependent). You have to cross TX-RX and RX-TX signals. Connect GND. See end of document if need help with wiring.

3) Start the module with the push button pressed (do not release it) and wait 15 seconds before to release the push button. The red LED will flash during this time

4) Click on Update button with the correct COM port.

Note: The program updater requires Internet connection

Wiring examples

1)         Case TTL3.3V version

For example, cable FTDI TTL-232RG-VREG3V3-WE or TTL-232R-3V3-WE

2)         Case RS232 version

(Any model because the Voltage Output is not used, only TX, RX and GND)
